Boston Gear Worm Gear Speed Reducers

The 700 Series is Boston Gear’s best-known product and one of the most common worm gear reducers in North American plants. It comes in single and double reduction, with projecting or hollow output shafts and quill, C-face or coupled inputs, which makes it a frequent drop-in replacement on conveyors and packaging machines. For light-duty and instrument applications, the 113 and 309 Series cover the sub-fractional horsepower range.

Boston Gear Helical Gear Drives

When efficiency matters more than the compact right angle of a worm drive, Boston Gear’s helical reducers are the step up. The line covers in-line helical (800B), helical worm (800BR), the 200 Series Optimount, parallel-shaft 600B units and the HM Series double C-faced helical multiplier.

Boston Gear’s right-angle bevel gear drives are built for applications that need a 90° turn with high efficiency and quiet running. Choose from the RA-Right 90 spiral bevel, the R/VR100 and R/VR200 spiral bevel series, and the R1000 Series bevel gear drives.
